ABOUT THE CINEMATOGRAPHER: ROBERT C. WEBB
Robert C. Webb completed films studies at the California State University Long Beach in 1994. Since then he has photographed numerous short films that have went on to receive many awards at various film festivals around the United States including the 2012 Emerging Cinematography Award from the International Cinematographers Guild. In 2001 the feature film which he shot, "The Flip Side" premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. He then went on to shoot the feature film "Americano" with Joshua Jackson, Dennis Hopper, and Leonor Varela. Robert received a Best Cinematography Award in 2005 from The Sidewalk Film Festival in Birmingham, Alabama for "Americano".
Robert photographed the Spanish feature film "Under The Snow" for Cronopia Films, which won an Audience Award at the Valladolid Film Festival in Spain and made it's North American Premiere at the 2008 Slamdance Film Festival. He recently photographed Cronopia's first International feature film "Blue Lips" which was shot in Spain, Italy, Los Angeles, Hawaii, Rio De Janeiro, and Buenos Aires. His recent features include "Shark Proof" with Jon Lovitz and Ken Davitian, "How To Grow Your Own" with Esteban Powell and Iris Bahr, "Wreckless Epic" with Jerry Trainor and Esteban Powell, and "The Divorce Party"
Robert won an Emmy Award and several Telly Awards for cinematography with wis work on Industrial Spots for Lockheed Martin, which have involved traveling around the world to such countries as Japan, Korea, United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Columbia, Australia, and Honduras. He has shot Commercial Spots for Gonzaga University, Aussie Hair Care Products, Nature Made, and Gain Laundry Detergent. He has photographed online content for Jim Henson Studios & Warner Bros. Cadburry Schwepps, Smashbox, Dove, Pampers, New Balance, EA Active, Westin Hotels, Hourglass cosmetics, Smithsonian, and Sikorsky Helicopters.
Robert recently photographed the web series "Squad 85" for Justin Lin's YOMYOMF Network which featured Parvesh Cheena, Deidrich Bader, RJ Mitte, and Danny Pudi. He has photographed "Nerd Down& 10" with the Sklar Brothers and "4 Points" with Alex Albrecht for Chris Hardwick's Nerdist Channel and the Web Series "The Real Girls Guide To Everything Else" on Strike TV. Robert has worked with the music video directing team Artificial Army, shooting videos for such bands as, Operator, Obie Trice, Trivium, These Arms Are Snakes, The Willows, Repeater, Manntis, The Sword, One Block Radius, and All Leather. Robert recently has shot videos for Six Digits Productions including Smoke Serpents and DJ Rap, and Taryn Manning for Anthony Bowman.
